Professor Christian Aldridge Joins the Schuco Team as a Medical Advisor
Prof. Christian Aldridge has recently joined the Schuco family as a Medical Advisor in Leavesden. With his extensive dermatology knowledge, he will support us in many ways moving forward, such as bridging the gap between clinical and sales/marketing. He will also be providing support for clinical questions and training.
Prof. Aldridge has previously worked at Prince Charles Hospital in South Wales and runs private skin cancer clinics in Cardiff, Hensol, Carmarthen, and London. In 1993 he obtained a BSc in Physiology and later completed his medical training at Cardiff Medical School in 1998.
Prof. Aldridge is Chair of the All Wales Skin Cancer Network and the All Wales Dermatology Audit Group. He has previously served as the Lead Clinician for the local Skin Cancer MDT (Multi-disciplinary Team) and led the Teledermatology service development in his Trust.
His main interests lie in skin cancer, mole surveillance, and skin cancer surgery. Prof. Aldridge has published several articles in this field and remains committed to early diagnosis and prompt intervention in managing skin cancer. He is also an adviser for the national charity Melanoma UK.
